Start with primary information
Tool profiles link to the provider’s official website or documentation. News articles identify a specific announcement or changelog entry where possible. A provider can establish what it says a product offers, but its own marketing does not independently prove comparative superiority, merchant outcomes or performance. We do not convert those claims into measured findings.
Keep the dates distinct
An official document’s publication date, an AMZ12 article’s publication date and a source-check date answer different questions. A source without a reliable publication date is not assigned an invented one. Dated developments remain dated in the article even when they are discussed later. Readers should check current documentation before acting on older coverage.
Use sources within their scope
Documentation may apply only to a plan, product edition, region or configuration. The assessment should preserve that context. General independent buying guidance can explain what to investigate without claiming that a provider supports every suggested workflow. A link to one feature is not evidence for an unrelated capability, compliance promise or service-level commitment.
Limits and improvements
External pages can move or change. Send a broken source or a conflicting primary document through corrections. The review policy explains the difference between desk research and hands-on testing. The credits page identifies our conceptual illustrations, which are not evidence of product behaviour.
