The initial provider links
The initial AMZ12 tool library uses ordinary links to official provider pages. These links are supplied as sources and routes for further investigation. The publication does not claim an active affiliate arrangement simply because a product is mentioned. A provider name, link or directory listing does not indicate that the provider has endorsed AMZ12.
When a link is commercial
If a link is later used to earn a referral payment or another material benefit, the relationship should be disclosed clearly near the relevant recommendation or link. A general policy page does not replace a reader-facing explanation at the point where it matters. Any commercial programme’s actual terms and current status must be verified before a related claim is published.
Keep the assessment separate
A commission is not evidence of quality, suitability or performance. A favourable assessment still needs a reason tied to a reader’s workflow, and limitations should remain visible. A reader should compare current provider terms and alternatives rather than assume that a prominently placed link is the only appropriate option. Paid placement must not be presented as an independent test result.
Further information
The FTC disclosure guide explains the importance of identifying material connections in its scope. Our advertising policy and review policy describe the publication’s approach. Contact AMZ12 if a particular link or disclosure is unclear.
