Current advertising state
Advertising placements are disabled by default. The site’s advertising controls can support a code placement or an image linked to an advertiser, but the presence of that capability does not establish an active advertising relationship. Editorial cards and ordinary official-source links should not be interpreted as paid placements without a relevant disclosure.
Identify paid material
If advertising or sponsorship is enabled, the material should be recognisable as commercial content where it appears. A sponsor’s involvement must not be hidden behind the design of an independent review. A factual source link does not prove sponsorship, and sponsorship does not turn an advertiser’s statement into an independently verified result.
Protect reader decisions
Commercial terms should not require invented test findings, false endorsements or the removal of material limitations. A provider can explain a feature or submit a correction, but a payment is not evidence that its service is appropriate for every store. Readers should still check the provider’s current plan, eligibility, documentation and contract before buying.
Proposals and concerns
Send a clearly identified advertising proposal through contact, describing the business, the proposed placement and the destination. Submission does not guarantee acceptance or a response time. Report unclear placement labels with the page address. Read link disclosures, editorial policy and privacy before proposing tracking or embedded services.
